Have dialog about what <br /> is "loved to death" and what isn't. Then in May have a public <br /> hearing. From that we could make a recommendation. <br /> Director Breuer suggested that our two programmers come <br /> since they do all the programming in the parks. That would <br /> be Patrice Atkinson and Pat Tuma. <br /> Chair Frischman stated there was a good group who came <br /> and talked about "Arts in the Parks". You could actually <br /> lease some mobile art (sculpture type things) or you could <br /> purchase them. Chair Frischman feels that is one of the <br /> things we are lacking in New Brighton a public arts and <br /> culture outlet. <br /> Director Breuer encouraged Commissioners to attend the <br /> Town Hall meeting to promote the Public Forum in May. The <br /> Town Hall meeting is scheduled on Saturday, April 6 from <br /> 8am to Noon at the New Brighton Community Center. <br /> VIII. Trails, Bike and Walk-ways <br /> Director Breuer commented that at the last meeting PREC made <br /> recommendations. She heard back from Craig Schlichting about the area on Old <br /> Hwy 8, south of County Road E. Public Works thanked this Commission for the <br /> recommendation. Currently any construction is cost-prohibitive. They will save <br /> the information they received from the Commission. After some research, it was <br /> discovered that in 1990 a sidewalk was constructed as part of a greenway <br /> 4 <br />
