PREC Chair Election — recommendation for Council <br /> (April 10, 2013 — March 31, 2014) <br /> MOTION BY COMMISSIONER FIELDS, SECONDED BY <br /> COMMISSIONER LUNDBERG, TO APPOINT COMMISSIONER <br /> FRISCHMAN AS CHAIR FROM APRIL 10, 2013 — MARCH 31, 2014. <br /> MOTION CARRIED. <br /> b. New Brighton Exchange Parks <br /> Director Breuer updated the viewing audience on the items that were <br /> provided the Commission by e-mail. <br /> • Grid of parks and facilities <br /> • Neighborhood Centers & Park amenities <br /> • The View demographics - 124 total units. Professionals aged 23-55 <br /> make up the largest group. <br /> • School demographics — Sunnyside is the elementary school, <br /> Edgewood is the middle school and Irondale is the high school. <br /> Director Breuer stated the Commission had also requested a presentation on <br /> field usage in New Brighton. <br /> Pat Tuma and Patrice Atkinson, Recreation Supervisors gave the field usage <br /> report.
