Dirt has been brought in many times to fill the hole, but the hole
keeps returning. A firm took soil borings and stated you would have to go
down 18 feet, put fabric down and bring in fill to fix the current issue.
• A Commissioner asked Recreation Supervisor, Pat Tuma where she
would put a softball field if she were to put a softball field in New Brighton?
Pat responded saying that if New Brighton Exchange had some space,
that would be a nice place. New Brighton is pretty much landlocked so
there is not a lot of space to put a field. Concerns are: Is there ample
parking, would it fit with the use at New Brighton Exchange?
2
