Director <br /> Breuer said she thought she would want everyone to know about the <br /> Town Hall meeting Saturday, April 6 at 8am at the New Brighton <br /> Community Center. City survey information will be shared. The City is <br /> also showcasing the new 311 mobile application. Council will have a panel <br /> for questions and answers. There is also a community fair. A free lunch <br /> served at the end. <br /> B. Chair Updates <br /> Chair Frischman reiterated that we need additional members for this <br /> commission. Apply online. <br /> C. Commission Reports on Parks <br /> Lundberg: Driftwood/Hansen <br /> DW: There was some barbed wire around that little fort in the woods. The <br /> playground looked good. <br /> HN: Commissioner Fields stated the timing of the lights is off. The <br /> pleasure rink as well as parking lot lights were on at 8:30 a.m. <br /> Nguyen: Freedom <br /> Wet, but ok. <br /> Vacant: Innsbruck <br /> No report. <br /> Fields: Hidden Oaks <br /> Nothing to report. <br /> Frischman: Meadow Wood <br /> No problems, just wet. <br /> Kunesh-Podein: Silver Oaks <br /> Everything is fine. <br /> Vacant: Sunny Square <br /> No report. <br /> Parker: Vermont <br /> It is melting nicely; still accessible. Where the swings are, neighbors have <br /> debris. <br /> D. Department Happenings / upcoming events <br /> Director Breuer stated the City was named a Tree City USA for the 31st <br /> consecutive year. There are 99 Cities in Minnesota with this status. <br /> Seventeen of those have more than 30 years. New Brighton is partnering <br /> with Ramsey County Friends of the Parks and Trails in holding our spring <br /> 5 <br />
