2. Cat and dog hospitals or pet shops provided that noise and odors are <br /> effectively confined to the premises. <br /> 3. Motels and motor hotels. <br /> 4. Home occupations in residential units as regulated by this Title. <br /> 5. Other uses not specifically listed herein which the City Council finds to be <br /> substantially the same or similar to listed uses. <br /> (3) Office Uses <br /> A. Out-patient medical clinic. <br /> B. Professional and service occupations such as accountant, architect, artist, broker, <br /> dentist, engineer, attorney, physician, realtor, chiropractor, osteopath, optometrist, <br /> secretarial agency, advertising agency, finance agency, insurance agency, <br /> investment agency, travel agency, bonding agency, mortgage agency, shopping <br /> service, and office/business machine agency. <br /> C. Business offices and services; office buildings, banks, business colleges, private <br /> trade schools. <br /> D. Government office and service buildings. <br /> Sec. 6-695. Other Special Uses. <br /> (1) The following uses are allowed by Special Use Permit on any lot or within any <br /> Building Type in the NWQ District, provided they meet the intent of the Design <br /> Framework: <br /> A. Public utility facility. <br /> B. Public parks and associated buildings. <br /> (2) Fences. Fences shall be permitted as an accessory use if they satisfy the intent of the <br /> Northwest Quadrant Framework Plan and the special uses standards found in Section <br /> 8-130. <br /> (3) Outdoor seating as an accessory use in conjunction with a licensed food or drink <br /> establishment, provided: <br /> A. A sidewalk area at least six feet wide is maintained free of seating, and; <br /> B. An outdoor seating plan is prepared and approved by the City Council on the <br /> recommendation of the city staff and Planning Commission, with the finding that <br /> the plan will not compromise public health, safety, or welfare. <br /> Sec. 6-700. Permitted Accessory Uses. <br /> (1) Signs as regulated in this article. <br /> (2) Off-street parking and off-street loading as regulated in this article. <br /> (3) Classes or instruction associated with the products or services offered by any <br /> Permitted Use or Special Use, provided such instruction is clearly secondary to the <br /> principal use. <br /> (Underline reflects new language,StrilEetlifeugh reflects deleted language) <br />
