MPCA Delisting of Former NW Refinery Site <br /> The City has learned that the MPCA is planning to de-list the former Northwest Refinery site <br /> from the Superfund program this summer. Attached is a draft update the agency intends to <br /> make public very soon. This is very good news and will help boost marketing efforts and make <br /> New Brighton Exchange more attractive. <br /> V. Other Items <br /> Attached is latest report from the St. Paul Area Association of Realtors on market activity for <br /> May 2013. The report shows strength in home prices, but a reduction in the supply of housing, <br /> closed sales and new listings. <br /> VI. Nominate chair for 2013-2014 term <br /> Each year the EDC must nominate a chair for upcoming cycle of meetings. The Council <br /> approves the appointment of all commission chairs. Paul Zisla is the current chair, but has <br /> indicated to staff that he would like step down in that capacity. On Tuesday the EDC will need <br /> to have a discussion about this topic and make a recommendation to Council. <br /> VII. Adjourn <br />
