He noted <br /> a meeting was scheduled for the end of October to further discuss these priorities with staff. <br /> Gina Bauman <br /> Councilmember Bauman reported seven members of the Public Safety Department completed <br /> the Twin Cities Marathon. She noted Ian Craig was recently hired by the Public Safety <br /> Department. She discussed a Fire Safety Event that was planned for Monday, October 28th. It <br /> was noted the Cable Commission met and continued discussions on the franchise agreements. <br /> The Cable Commission would meet again on Friday, October 18, 2013. <br /> Paul Jacobsen <br /> Councilmember Jacobsen reported the EDC would meet on October 16th at 7:30 a.m. He <br /> explained CPY would be holding a fundraising event on Friday, October 25th from 6:00 to <br /> 10:00 p.m. at the New Brighton Community Center. <br /> Char Samuelson <br /> Councilmember Samuelson reported the Park and Rec Commission did not meet in October. <br /> She indicated the group would meet in November. It was noted the Subway in the Community <br /> Center was now open for business. <br /> Mary Burt <br /> Councilmember Burg reported the Planning Commission would not meet in October. She Adjournment <br /> stated she recentlyattended the Northeast Youth and FamilyServices event.
