Correspondence <br />None <br />V. New Business <br />a. Totem Pole - Scout Project <br />Director Breuer introduced Mathew Justin who will be doing a scout project. <br />He will be putting up a new totem pole at Totem Pole Park. <br />Mathew Justin, from St. John's Scout Troop #93, gave a presentation on <br />putting the totem pole back in Totem Pole Park for his Eagle Scout project. His <br />project will entail: <br />• Removing the hockey boards from the hockey rink <br />• Remove wood chips under playground equipment and put down fabric, <br />and replace the wood chips <br />• Weed the park <br />• Stain the pavilion <br />• Put up a new totem pole <br />• A wood carver from Princeton, MN will be making the actual <br />totem pole. <br />• The totem pole will have the following (each animal had <br />significance to a member of his troop): <br />• Eagle <br />• Hawk <br />• Raven <br />• Roadrunner <br />• Cobra <br />• Shark <br />o Quote was originally $3,000, but because it is an Eagle project, <br />1 <br />
