The resolution is also <br />contained in the attached Feasibility Study. <br />Legislative History: The City Council adopted a Comprehensive Street Plan in 1982 creating a means <br />by which to improve and maintain high quality streets and alleys within the City. The streets considered <br />for rehabilitation in 2014 were identified by City staff as needing replacement in 2014 based on their age <br />and pavement condition. <br />On Wednesday, February 12, 2014, an informational meeting was held with residents to be affected by <br />this proposed project. Information about this meeting is included in the Feasibility Study. <br />Financial Impact: This project, if approved, would be funded from a combination of City of New <br />Brighton general taxes, individual enterprise utility funds, and special assessments. <br />Explanation: The purpose of this item is for Council to accept the Feasibility Study prepared by staff <br />and order a Public Improvement Hearing for the proposed Project 14 -1. A presentation of the feasibility <br />study will be made at the Public Improvement Hearing scheduled for April 8, 2014. <br />If the Council approves the project at the Public Improvement Hearing, staff will then prepare plans and <br />specifications based on the input received at the improvement hearing and previously collected <br />information. <br />A proposed project schedule is included in the Feasibility Study. <br />Costs and Funding: The attached Feasibility Study contains cost estimates and recommended funding. <br />- A-4 �'Mzm Z- <br />Grant Wy fels, P. <br />Director of Public Works <br />Attachments <br />Resolution <br />Feasibility Study <br />
