March 11, 2014 Page 3 of 3 <br />Mary Burg <br />Councilmember Burg reported action taken by the Planning Commission at their February 18th <br />meeting. She stated she attended the Totem Pole neighborhood meeting and was pleased by <br />the discussion. She looked forward to the next three neighborhood meetings. She reported the <br />Planning Commission would be meeting again on March 18, 2014. <br />Paul Jacobsen <br />Councilmember Jacobsen reported the dialogue at the recent neighborhood meeting was <br />greatly appreciated. He encouraged residents to attend one of the upcoming neighborhood <br />meetings as it allowed for conversation with both the Council and staff. He explained the EDC <br />would meet again on March 19, 2014 at 7:30 a.m. <br />Brian Strub <br />Councilmember Strub encouraged residents to participate in the annual tree sale. He explained <br />there would be live music at the New Brihton Community Center, sponsored by the library, <br />on March 12th. He reported on March 25t there would be a Business Expo at the Mermaid <br />from 5:00 -7:00 p.m. He was pleased that residents were showing an interest in serving the <br />community on a City commission or committee. <br />Mayor Jacobsen <br />Mayor Jacobsen reported he was recently in Washington DC for the National League of Cities. <br />It was an honor for him to serve the community in this capacity. <br />Adjournment <br />Motion by Councilmember Bauman, seconded by Councilmember Jacobsen to adjourn <br />the meeting. <br />5 Ayes, 0 Nays- Motion Carried, <br />Meeting adjourned at 6:45 p.m. <br />/��" ae�i� <br />Dave Jgcobsen, Mayor <br />c <br />ATTEST: <br />Daniel A.
