RESOLUTION NO <br />14- <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE 2014 DONATIONS FROM BRIGHTONDALE, <br />MEADOWOOD SHORES IN THE AMOUNT OF $309.80. <br />WHEREAS, the City desires that all New Brighton families are able to participate in Parks and <br />Recreation programs; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council appreciates the support from the community toward youth and <br />families who may not be able to participate in New Brighton's recreational activities <br />due to their income status; and <br />WHEREAS, Brightondale, Meadowood Shores hosted a luncheon with the purpose of donating <br />monies collected to the scholarship fund and <br />WHEREAS, the City welcomes funds to help maintain the quality and quantity of affordable <br />recreational opportunities for New Brighton families, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of New Brighton to hereby <br />approve the resolution accepting the 2014 donations totaling $309.80 from Brightondale, Meadowood <br />Shores to assist low income families in participating in New Brighton Parks and Recreation programs. <br />Adopted this 22nd day of April, 2014. <br />Dave Jacobsen, Mayor <br />Dean R.
