April 8, 2014 Page 8 of 8 <br />Paul Jacobsen <br />Councilmember Jacobsen reported that the EDC would be meeting on Wednesday, April 16th <br />at 7:30 a.m. He indicated the North Metro Mayors on April 16th in the evening. He stated the <br />annual Metro Cities meeting would be held later this month. <br />Mary Burs <br />Councilmember Burg reported several new commission positions were appointed this evening <br />by the Council. She explained she would now be serving on the Public Safety Commission. <br />She commented she would be attending the April 281h Public Safety meeting at 6:30 p.m. at the <br />Public Safety building. <br />Brian Strub <br />Councilmember Strub reported the PREC did not meet in April. He discussed the volunteer <br />appreciation dinner and was pleased by the turnout for this event. He noted he attended the <br />Chalkboard Capers 30th Annual event last week. He discussed the ribbon cutting ceremony for <br />the New Brighton Family Dentist office. He encouraged residents to participate in the City's <br />annual tree sale. He wished everyone a Happy Easter and Passover. <br />Mayor Jacobsen <br />Mayor Jacobsen reported he would be heading to Fergus Falls for the Minnesota Mayor's <br />Association.
