Call to Order The meeting was called to order at 6:32 p.m. by Chair Frischman II. Roll Call Members Present: Commissioners Brunell, Cook, Eischen, Fields, Frischman, Jones, Kunesh - Podein, Lundberg and Council Liaison Strub (arrived 6:40 p.m.) Members Absent: Commissioner Parker Also Present: Sandy Breuer, Director of Parks and Recreation; Chris Wolla, Parks Superintendent III. Minutes of March 5, 2014 MOTION BY COMMISSIONER LUNDBERG, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER FIELDS, TO APPROVE THE MARCH 5, 2014 MINUTES AS SUBMITTED. IV. New Business a. Introduction of New Members New PREC members were introduced b. Election of New Chair Director Breuer stated the Chair is appointed for one year. After the chair has been elected by PREC members, the Council will approve the Chair selection. To qualify for Chair you must serve a minimum of one 3 year term on the commission, a member in good standing, can expect to make all meetings as Chair person, the member has exhibited leadership and involvement in past activities of the Commission, will be able to carry out the overall mission of the Commission responsibilities. Chair may be reappointed after 1 year. MOTION BY COMMISSIONER FIELDS, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER LUNDBERG, TO NOMINATE COMMISSIONER FRISCHMAN AS CHAIR. MOTION CARRIED. FRISCHMAN ABSTAINED. V. Old Business a. Park Tour Discussion Director Breuer recommended starting at 4pm. We usually cannot see all the parks; because of time constraints. June 4th will be the park tour and meeting date. Director Breuer will work on the route. VII. Trails, Bike and Walk -ways Director Breuer commented that Public Works will bring PREC's previous recommendations to the Council. VIII. Announcements A.
