Council Liaison Strub stated a resident and member of the Irondale
Hockey Association lives in the area and wanted to keep the boards up
so they could flood and keep the rink for practice.
Chair Frischman inquired about a building coming down at the golf
course.
Parks Superintendent Wolla shared that we received permission to
build a new garage at the Golf Course. We will take down three small
buildings and build a new garage.
Chair Frischman stated she wanted to recognize Mary Kunesh - Podein
for attending the Council work sessions and meetings, regarding the
renovation of the locker rooms and restrooms at the Community
Center.
Chair Frischman asked if we have a list of projects for scouts to do?
Parks Superintendent Wolla stated he has started a list with projects
from the Parks Department, Community Development and Public
Works.
Chair Frischman stated there will be a park tour on June 4, meet at
4pm, and the meeting will follow at a neighborhood center.
Director Breuer asked commissioners to e-mail her if there is a specific
park they want to see.
Chair Frischman thanked the Commission for voting her as Chair for
another year. She enjoys the collaboration among various residents of
this Commission. It has been enlightening and educational.
IX.
