Project Update on Pulte Homes <br />There was nothing new to report. <br />Project Update on AN Group expansion <br />Director Fernelius reported AN continues to work on building and site plan details. It was anticipated <br />the project would break ground in September of this year. <br />Remaining development issues in NBE <br />Director Fernelius reported NBE would be seeing a great deal of development in a short time. He <br />reported Block B was still an area of concern, due to its environmental history. In addition, park <br />planning efforts in NBE still need discussion. The greater vision for the area will have to be considered <br />along with other necessary amenities /services that could be considered. He indicated that the housing <br />market has changed and therefore, the vision for NBE may have to be reconsidered. <br />Councilmember Jacobsen wanted to see the Council and EDC be forward thinking through the <br />development of the NBE. <br />Director Fernelius indicated the EDC could assist the Council by creating strategies for the remaining <br />sites to be developed in NBE. <br />Monthly marketing report <br />Director Fernelius reviewed the Colliers report with the EDC. <br />Future EDC Tonics <br />Director Fernelius explained the EDC would preview the City Council's Key Performance Indicators: <br />Economic Development at a future meeting. <br />A member commented there would be a great deal of traffic congestion surrounding New Brighton over <br />the next few years due to MnDOT/Ramsey County scheduled bridge replacements. He noted the EDC <br />may want to discuss how these transportation concerns would impact the City. <br />Ad*ourn <br />Motion by Commissioner Murlowski, seconded by Commissioner Zelm to adjourn the meeting. <br />7 Ayes, 0 Nays, Motion carried <br />Meeting adjourned at 8:52 am <br />
