Consideration ofthe vacation of various easements and right-of-way in connection <br />with the NEW BRIGHTON EXCHANGE 2ND ADDITION plat in support of the <br />Cardiovascular Systems, Inc. development. Report No. 14-093. <br />Resolution No. 14-030. <br />City Manager Lotter explained that City Planner Gundlach would be presenting this item to the <br />Council. <br />City Planner Gundlach requested the Council consider the following easement vacations and <br />right-of-way in support of the Cardiovascular Systems, Inc. development: <br />a.) A Drainage & Utility Easement per Doc. No 4032666, specifically a 10' easement <br />located generally along a portion of the western boundary of Outlot F, NEW <br />BRIGHTON EXCHANGE 1 ST ADDITION, New Brighton, MN. <br />b.) A Drainage & Utility Easement as dedicated on the pJat of N E W BRIG TON <br />EXCHANGE 1 ST ADDITION, specifi cally a 10 easement .located along the northern <br />boundary of Outlot A, NEW BRIGHTON EXCHANG E 1 ST ADDITION, per Doc <br />No.'s 4357879 and 2186079. <br />c.) The Vacation of a public roadway easement, specifically a 70' roadwa~ easement <br />dedicated between Outlots A & F, NEW' BRIGHTON EXCHANGE 1 T ADDITION <br />per Doc. No's 4205582 & 2100109. <br />d.) The Vacation of public right-of-way dedicated as Northwest Parkway on the plat of <br />NEW BRIGHTON EXCAHNGE 1 ST ADDITION per Doc. No.'s 4357879 & 2186079, <br />specifically a 70' right-of-way located between Outlots A & F, NEW BRIGHTON <br />EXCHANGE 1 ST ADDITION. <br />e.) A 70' Sanitary Sewer, Storm Sewer, & Ponding Easement per Doc. No. 4303624 <br />located generally along right-of-way known as Northwest Parkway, specifically only <br />the section between Outlots A & F, NEW BRIGHTON EXCHANGE 1 ST ADDITION. <br />City Planner Gundlach explained the above easements need to be vacated in order to proceed <br />with the NEW BRIGHTON EXCHANGE 2ND ADDITION preliminary and final plat approval <br />and the subsequent development of the Cardiovascular Systems, Inc. (CSI) corporate <br />headquarters. These easements, and the portion of Northwest Parkway between Outlot A and <br />F, conflict with the site layout for the CSI development. There are some utilities within the <br />Northwest Parkway right-of-way that need to be removed in connection with the vacation. <br />Engineering/Public Works staff has reviewed these vacations and has determined where these <br />3.
