<br />under the agreement in a timely and proper manner, orif GRANTEE violates conditions ofthe agreement, the <br />STATE may reduce, suspend, or terminate funding with a 30~ay notice of the effective date of the action. <br />GRANTEE shall be entitled to payment for work or service satisfactorily performed for which state funds are <br />available. <br /> <br />This grant contract may be canceled by either party at any time with or without cause, upon thirty (30) <br />days written notice to the other party. In the event of such a cancellation, GRANTEE shall be entitled <br />to payment, determined on a pro rata basis, for work. or services satisfactorily performed. <br /> <br />VI. TERMS OF GRANT. This grant contract shall be effective upon the date that the final required signature is <br />obtained by the STATE, pursuant to MS 16C.05, Subd. 2 and shall remain in effect until August 31,1999, or <br />until all obligations set forth in this grant contract have been satisfactorily fulfilled, whichever occurs first. The <br />GRANTEE may claim reimbursement for expenditures incurred for services performed on or after June 1, 1999. <br /> <br />VII. STATE'S AUTHORIZED AGENT. The STATE's authorized agent for the purposes of this agreement is Pamela <br />J. Docken, or her successor in office, Department of Public Safety, Office of the Commissioner, 445 Minnesota <br />Street, Suite 1000, North Central Life Tower St. Paul, MN 55101-2128. Such agent shall have final authority <br />for acceptance of GRANTEE'S services. . <br /> <br />VIII. REPORTING. GRANTEE will advise the STATE concerning project progress through such reasonable means <br />as the STATE may find convenient. These will include the following, and shall be submitted to: Pamela J. <br />Docken, or her successor in office, Department of Public Safety, Office of the Commissioner, 445 Minnesota <br />Street, Suite 1000, North Central Life Tower St. Paul, MN 55101-2128. <br /> <br />A. The GRANTEE will advise the STATE concerning project progress through the submission of quarterly <br />reports as required by the STATE's Authorized Agent These reports will be due within 20 days of the end <br />of the quarter. <br /> <br />B. SUbmission of a final evaluation report within 30 days after the termination date of this agreement. <br /> <br />C. Submission of a final expenditure report within 30 days after the termination of this agreement. <br /> <br />D. GRANTEE shall make any and all project records, reports and other data available to the STATE upon <br />request; this includes submission of copies of any reports, data, surveys (including survey instruments), <br />or other materials for review and comment before they are prepared in final form, and six copies of all <br />materials produced by the project following production of the materials. <br /> <br />E. Permitting periodic site visits by the STATE's Authorized Agent, other STATE staff or other employees <br />of the State of Minnesota on behalf of the STATE. <br /> <br />F. lfinitiated, participation in statewide data collection and cooperation with a designated evaluator on behalf <br />of the STATE, for the purpose of statewide evaluation efforts and assistance with indMdual project <br />evaluation plans. <br /> <br />G. Participation in training and evaluation workshops may be required. <br /> <br />IX.
