<br />Page 4 - August 09, 2005 New Brighton Council Minutes <br /> <br />Conncll member Doffing questioned the probability of the lift station located <br />~hind the parcel being moved in the near future. <br /> <br />re City Planner indicated that would not be probable. <br /> <br />Pat Murzyn and Tom Siwek offered a revised site plan where two lots of record <br />were proposed as opposed to three. <br /> <br />The City Attorney suggested the City Connell to direct staff to prepare a resolution <br />for approval of the two lot proposal. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Moore-Sykes seconded by Council Member Hoffman to <br />continue this item to the next council meeting so that staff has an opportunity to <br />prepare an appropriate resolution for this proposal. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nays, Motion Carried <br /> <br />I'. Consideration of revisions to the Family Service Center jBrightwood Hills <br />10 f Course Alcohol Policy. Report No. 05-179 <br /> <br />Director of Parks and Recreation Steve Rymer gave an overview of the City's <br />current liquor pblicies; stating that currently people are allowed to bring in their <br />own beer and wine. licensed vendors are required for hard liquor distribution. It is <br />the recommendation of staff to require licensed vendors for all liquor distribution. <br /> <br />Mr. Rymer stated. that the Parks Recreation and Environmental Commission met, <br />and unanimously recommended the change as well, with the provision allowing for <br />the existing rental groups to personally distribute alcohol. <br /> <br />Mayor Larson inquires about the policy in place for a police officer patrolling <br />events, Mr. Rymer indicated there is currently no policy in place, but it is being <br />considered. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Hoffman, seconded by Council Member Moore-Sykes to <br />approve the recommended revisions to the Family Service Center liquor policy to <br />only allow for the distribution and sale of alcohol by a licensed vendor, and prohibit <br />lersonal distribution, honoring existing contracts. <br /> <br /> <br />Ayes - 0 Nays, Motion Carried <br /> <br />2.
