Report No. 05-153 <br /> <br />Director of Parks and Recreation, Steve Rymer gave some background information <br />regarding the Family Academy Charter School, in addition to going over some <br />highlighted points of the lease. <br /> <br />Council Member Doffmg commented on her appreciation for the partnership <br />opportunity this provides. <br /> <br />Council Member Burg expressed her appreciation as well. <br /> <br />_oard Chair, Todd Brouche, Anne Hennessey and Joan Purrington from the <br />amily Academy all spoke about their enthusiasm to be partnering with the Family <br />ervice Center. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Hoffman, seconded by Council Member Moore-Sykes to <br />Approve a five year lease with Family Academy Charter School commencing on <br />September 1, 2005. <br /> <br />5 Ayes ~ 0 Nays, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Hoffman, seconded by Council Member Burg to <br />authorize a capital investment outlay not to exceed $75,000.00 to be repaid through <br />monthly Family Academy lease payments. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nays, Motion Carried <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />Consideration to approve a pJ;:Ofessional services contract with <br />Ingraham & Associates for the development of a Parks, Recreation, <br />and Trails strategic plan.
