<br />Page 6 - April 26, 2005, New Brighton Council Minutes <br /> <br />8. <br /> <br />Consideration of a special use permit and site plan review for Red Stone Builders for 1820 Old <br />Highway 8 NW. Report No. 05-094. Resolution No. 05-036 <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />The City Planner gave an overview of the proposed project, explaining that a Special Use <br />Permit is required due to the height of the structure exceeding 40 feet. <br />Motion by Council Member Moore-Sykes, seconded by Council Member, Doffing to waive <br />the reading and adopt the attached resolntion approving SP05-10 & LP05-06 subject to the <br />following conditions: <br /> <br />I. Approval of a permit by the Rice Creek Watershed District. <br />2. The storm sewer pipe is relocated at the applicant's expense at a location to be approved <br />by the City Engineer. <br />3. An easement is granted and filed for municipal access to the storm sewer line. <br />4. The applicant shall redraft the landscape plan to be approved by the City Planner. <br />5. Sidewalk connection is made to the sidewalk on the west side of Old Highway 8. <br />6. A redrafted site plan is submitted showing the front entrance to be approved by the City <br />Planner. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nays, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />19. <br /> <br />Consideration of a site plan review to construct 6 retail buildings at Brighton Village Shopping <br />Center. Report No. 05-095. ResolutionNo.05-037 <br /> <br />The City Planner gave an overview of the proposed project. <br /> <br />Cynthia Able from Kraus Anderson introduced Kathy Anderson, who gave a more <br />detailed description of the proposed project. Some potential tenant ideas were <br />presented; however it was stated that other than a Drug Store, nothing else has been <br />confirmed at this time. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Doffing, seconded by Council Member, Burg to waive <br />the reading and adopt the attached resolution approval of LP05-05 subject to the following <br />conditions: <br /> <br />.1 <br /> <br />1. Approval of a permit by the Rice Creek Watershed District. <br />2. A final utility plan shall be submitted and approved by the City Engineer. <br />3. Snow plowing and snow storage data shall be approved by City Staff. <br />4. No sign permits shall be issued except under the authority of an approved area of <br />special control sign plan through the Comprehensive Sign Plan process. <br />5. Additional fire hydrants and "Y-connection" location to be reviewed and approved <br />by Fire Inspector. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nays, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Highway 8 NW.
