July 14, 2015 Page 7 of 7 <br />Paul Jacobsen <br />Councilmember Jacobsen reported the Planning Commission would not be meeting on <br />Tuesday, July 21, 2015. He encouraged residents to visit Dairy Queen, as 10% of their <br />proceeds on July 21St would be donated to local scholarships for Park and Recreation <br />programs. He suggested residents contact the Public Safety Department and speak with Officer <br />Hamdorf to get their National Night Out events registered with the City. He then discussed the <br />activities planned for Stockyard Days. <br />Mayor Jacobsen <br />Mayor Jacobsen reported he recently attended a North Metro Mayor's meeting in Anoka at a <br />homeless shelter. He was impressed by the great work and training being conducted at this <br />shelter.
