Residential parking spaces shall be specifically reserved for the use of residents and <br />visitors only, separate from any commercial, office, or other uses on site or nearby, <br />and shall not be counted as part of any shared parking or joint parking arrangement. <br />Parking for restaurants shall be calculated as required in Chapter 11 of this code. <br />If present, on -street parking directly in front of a given building or lot shall count <br />toward fulfilling the total parking requirement. <br />On -grade parking is prohibited in the front yard directly in front of a building, except <br />in areas designated with a Build -to Line B, requiring a maximum setback of 44 feet. <br />Parking shall be provided to the side or rear of buildings in mid -block areas. <br />Where parking fronts a street the maximum parking lot width shall be seventy (70) <br />feet measured at the lot frontage. Parking in driveways at the rear of townhomes may <br />be counted towards the requirements of this ordinance if it does not interfere with <br />other traffic movement. <br />Parking areas on private property shall be prohibited within fifty (50) feet of the <br />intersection of the right-of-way of any streets within the NWQ District. <br />6-750. General Provisions. <br />(�) Building Design: <br />A. All buildings in the NWQ District shall be designed to accomplish the goals and <br />policies of the Comprehensive Plan and the Northwest Quadrant Framework plan. <br />B. Fagade treatments. <br />Commercial/mixed-use buildings in the NWQ District shall address the street <br />with windows, prominent entrances, and unique corner treatments. <br />2. Commercial/mixed-use buildings in the NWQ District shall have a well- <br />defined base, middle, and top. <br />3. The primary fagade(s) of buildings of forty (40) feet or more in width shall be <br />divided architecturally by means all or a combination of the following: <br />a. Significantly different materials or textures, or <br />b. Division into storefronts with separate display windows, or <br />c. Ornamental features such as arcades or awnings, or <br />d.
