January 27, 2015 Page 7 of 7 <br />City Hall. <br />Brian Strub <br />Councilmember Strub reported on January 19th he attended the Martin Luther King breakfast at <br />the Theological Seminary in New Brighton. He commented that PREC would meet next on <br />Wednesday, February 4th. He encouraged residents to participate in the Snow Shoe Shuffle on <br />February 7th on Long Lake. He stated on February 12' , the Northeast Youth and Family <br />Services would be holding the Service to Youth Awards event. He thanked Director Breuer for <br />her efforts on making the New Brighton Community Center the best recreation center in the <br />metro area. He thanked Public Safety Director Jacobsen for his presence at the meeting and for <br />the efforts of the entire department to keep the community safe. <br />Mayor Jacobsen <br />Mayor Jacobsen reported he was reappointed to the Environmental, Energy and Resources <br />Committee with the National League of Cities.
