The cost of the vehicle is as <br />follows: <br />Contract # 70287 from Ranizer GM <br />Vehicle Price $26,602 <br />Less Trade-in $ 0* <br />Sub -Total $26,602 <br />MN Excise Tax (6.5%) $ 1,729 <br />Total $28,331 <br />Contract # 84882 from Truck Utilities <br />Work Body Price $10,591 <br />Sub -Total $10,591 <br />Sales Tax $ 0 <br />Total $10,591 <br />Grand Total $38,922** <br />Tax exempt due to 2014 law change <br />*Truck #072 is scheduled to be moved into the maintenance pool to replace City Vehicle # 976. There <br />will not be a trade-in for this vehicle. City Vehicle # 976 is a 1997 pickup that was moved into the pool in <br />2007. It is used primarily by seasonal employees to transport personnel and equipment to various job <br />sites. City Vehicle # 976 is anticipated to receive a bid of $1,000 at a public auction. <br />
