DEPARTMENT HEAD'S APPROVAL: CITY MANAGER APPROVAL: No comments to supplement this report Comments attached Recommendation: Authorize the Director of Community Assets and Development to send offer letters to affected properties based on appraised values. Legislative History: April 8, 2014 City Council entered agreement with Kimley-Horn and Associates (KHA) for conceptual streetscape improvements and bridge aesthetic conceptual designs for the I -35W bridges at County Road E2, County Road F, CSAH 96, and County Road H. March 24, 2015 City Council approved Amendment Number 2 to the Professional Services Agreement between the City of New Brighton and KHA for Final Design Services concerning County Road F/10th Street NW. On April 14, 2015 City Council: 1) Ordered a Feasibility Study for City Project 16-1, 2016 Street Rehabilitation. 2) Authorized the Director of Community Assets and Development to work with a Professional Land Surveyor and the City Attorney to prepare right of way and/or easement documents to be included in the Feasibility Study. 3) Authorized the Director of Community Assets and Development to enter into Amendment Number 3 to the Professional Services Agreement between the City of New Brighton and KHA. April 30, 2105 Neighborhood Informational Meeting June 18, 2015 City Council accepted Feasibility Study and set Public Hearing July 14, 2015 Public Hearing and Approved Project, KHA plan design, hired appraiser Financial Impact: Patchin Messner Dodd & Brumm has prepared market value appraisals of private property that is needed to accommodate Project 16-1 improvements. This consists of the following properties:
