February 29th at 6:30 p.m. the Public Safety Facility. A discussion will be held with the Ramsey County 911/Dispatch Center. He indicated the Police Reserves held their annual recognition dinner on Sunday, February 21St. He thanked all of the volunteers that serve within the Police Reserves. Gina Bauman Councilmember Bauman stated the EDC will meet next on Wednesday, March 2nd. She indicated the Cable Commission met on Thursday, February 18th. There were still discussions with Comcast that a Federal lawsuit would commence soon. A judge would be giving Comcast until Wednesday, June Is' at 4:30 p.m. to mediate the suit. Mary Burz Councilmember Burg reported the Park and Recreation Department had ice rinks opened from January 2" d through February 15th. The parks had 5,481 skaters this season. She thanked the Sunny Square volunteers for all their help. She discussed the special events that were held at the Community Center on President's Day. It was noted 396 youth passes were sold that day. She thanked the Park and Recreation Department for their great planning. She indicated the spring Park and Recreation brochure would be sent out March 7". She explained Brightwood Hills Golf Course would be taking reV strations starting on March 41" and 5t". PREC would be meeting next on Wednesday, March d at 6:30 p.m. Bob Jacobsen Acting City Manager Jacobsen had nothing to report. Mayor Johnson Mayor Johnson reported the Council held interviews with residents interested in serving on the City's commissions. She thanked these individuals for their time. She noted the Eagle's would be holding a fish fry every Friday night for Lent at 5:00 p.m. She explained the Governor's Water Summit would be held this weekend and she would be attending. She indicated she had the privilege of attending the Public Safety Departn-tent's award ceremony on Monday, February 22nd. She listed and congratulated each of the award recipients.
