Staff has provided an analysis of the helipad design <br />revisions, and their compliance with the applicable special use standards below (staff responses <br />in italics): <br />Section 6-693 (C): <br />1) The helipad must be accessory to the office use. <br />This criterion is met. The helipad is located in between two office buildings owned and <br />operated by APi Group, Inc. The primary user of the helipad will be the company CEO. <br />2) Permitted only on properties containing all of the following attributes: <br />a. At least four (4) acres in area or the principal use has been permitted via a Planned <br />Development; and <br />This criterion is met. The property is located with an APi campus of almost six acres and <br />the original headquarters and helipad site were approved by Planned Unit Development <br />in 2007. <br />b. Abutting Interstates 694 or 35W. <br />
