Councilmember Burg was uncomfortable with requiring Commissioner McPherson to step down. She <br />recommended that the Commissioner expectations be addressed by the City Council at a future meeting. <br /> <br />Closed Session Meeting to Discuss Threatened Litigation by Certain Citizens of New Brighton relating to an <br />Ordinance Adopted by the City Council Regarding Changing Election Years from Odd to Even <br /> <br />City Attorney Sonsalla requested the Council hold a Closed Meeting to discuss the threatened Litigation by <br />certain citizens of New Brighton relating to an Ordinance adopted by the City Council regarding changing <br />election years from odd to even. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Jacobsen, seconded by Councilmember Burg to adjourn to a Closed Session <br />meeting pursuant to Minnesota Statute 13B.05 Subdivision 3B to discuss potential litigation regarding <br />Ordinance 839 Changing the Year of Municipal Elections.
