WHATDOESN’TTHESHORELAND <br />ORDINANCEINCLUDE? <br />No addiƟonal restricƟons on hardcover, building height, or structural coverage be- <br />yond what is already in place for all of New Brighton. <br /> <br />The underlying zoning district (such as residenƟal, business, or industrial) will sƟll <br />dictate how a property can be used and the proposed Shoreland Ordinance will NOT <br />impose addiƟonal use restricƟons. <br /> <br />The proposed ordinance does NOT impose regulaƟons/restricƟons on water quality <br />or the use of watercraŌ on the lake. <br /> <br />You may sƟll use over-the-counter pesƟcides land-ward of the shoreline to control <br />weeds or vermin/varmint. <br /> <br />The proposed ordinance does NOT create any addiƟonal easements for public use <br />of the shoreline (like trails). <br /> <br />The proposed ordinance noes NOT address or alter other rules already in place (For <br />Example: Ňoodplain, wetland, or Rice Creek Watershed District rules). <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
