5 <br />On December 3rd at about 10:39 pm Sgt. Singer observed a 2005 Toyota Camry traveling <br />at a high rate of speed on 10th St NW with a speed of 44 mph in the 30 mph zone. Sgt. <br />Singer stopped the vehicle on Long Lake Rd at Beach Rd and identified the driver as <br />Daniel Avraamides, 24 years of age from Fridley. Sgt. Singer could detect a strong odor <br />of unburned marijuana coming from within the vehicle. During a search of the vehicle, <br />120 grams of marijuana was located in a hidden compartment. Mr. Avraamides was <br />arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance. CN 15016410. <br /> <br />On December 3rd at about 11:22 pm Officer DeBoer observed a 2015 Ford Fusion driving <br />erratically crossing a center line and center dashed line on northbound Silver Lake Rd. <br />Officer DeBoer stopped the vehicle on Cty Rd H 2 and Silver Lake Rd and identified the <br />driver as Angela Marie Mulvaney, 37 years of age from Spring Lake Park. Officer <br />DeBoer noted signs of intoxication including a strong smell of alcoholic beverages and <br />red, watery eyes. Ms. Mulvaney stated that “I’m sorry, I know I shouldn’t be driving”. <br />Ms. Mulvaney failed field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest. She later agreed to <br />a breath test with a result of a .23 alcohol content. Due to the very high test, she was <br />booked on the enhanced charges of DUI in the 3rd degree, a gross misdemeanor. CN <br />15016412. <br /> <br />On December 7th at about 11:29 pm Officer Farmer conducted a traffic stop of a 2006 <br />Cadillac DTS at I 35W at County Rd E 2. The Cadillac’s windows were heavily tinted. <br />The driver, identified as Bronson Vondall, 27 years of age from Anoka, appeared <br />“nervous and jittery”. Vondall appeared to be under the influence of a controlled <br />substance. He stated that he had last used a controlled substance (heroin) about a month <br />ago. He later admitted to using Ecstasy about two days ago. He failed field sobriety tests <br />and was placed under arrest. He later provided a urine sample for testing. Mr. Vondall, <br />due to previous convictions for DUI, was booked on the enhanced charges of DUI in the <br />2nd degree, a gross misdemeanor. CN 15016439. <br /> <br />On December 6th at about 10:16 pm Officer Riedel was on I 694 and observed a vehicle, <br />a 2003 Cadillac DTS, driving at an extremely high rate of speed. It was determined that <br />the vehicle was traveling in excess of 100 mph. Officer Riedel stopped the vehicle and <br />identified the driver as Damon Anderson, 40 years of age from Columbia Heights. <br />Anderson was cited for Careless Driving. CN 15016576. <br /> <br />On December 11th at about 1:13 a.m. Officer Wakasugi was in the area of 800-806 W Cty <br />Rd D on patrol when he observed a 2002 Honda Civic driving thru the area with an <br />obstructed view through his windshield. Office Wakasugi stopped the vehicle near 804 W <br />Cty Rd D and identified the driver as Khayeng Lor, 23 year old male from Minneapolis. <br />Mr. Lor had a very strong odor of alcoholic beverages and his eyes were bloodshot and <br />watery. Mr. Lor when asked how much he had to drink stated “Not that much”. Mr. Lor <br />appeared intoxicated and failed field sobriety tests. When placed under arrest, Mr. Lor <br />stated “No” and began to resist. Officer Wakasugi was able to control Mr. Lor taking <br />him to the ground and placing him in handcuffs. The use of force encounter was <br />captured on the squad car camera. Mr. Lor later consented to a breath test resulting in a <br />.17 alcohol content. Due to the high test, Mr. Lor was booked on the enhanced charges <br />of DUI in the 3rd degree, a gross misdemeanor. CN 15016756. <br /> <br />Sgt.
