New Brightonwill again be receiving the Tree City USA status. This is <br />New Brighton's34 1h year. <br />Director Breuer commented that this is Commissioner Frischman's last <br />PREC meeting. She has been on the Commission since 2004. She served <br />as a Commission member and Chaired for many of those years. Director <br />Breuer and the Commission thanked her for her years of service. <br />Commissioner Frischman thanked everyone. A few things she has been a <br />part of are: Public hearings for disc golf, charter school decisions and <br />biking/walking trails. It is an honor to be a member of this Commission. <br />She sees that the community wants to be enlightened and be a part of the <br />process. She loves the interaction with the residents. She will continue to <br />be a part of the community. <br />Chair Kunesh-Podein thanked Commissioner Frischman for her <br />leadership and involvement with the Commission. <br />Council Member Strub thanked Director Breuer and Parks Superintendent <br />Chris Wolla for the installation of the light at Silver Oaks Park this winter. <br />And he stated the new hockey rink boards at Freedom are very nice. The <br />staff have been very responsive to the community. Thanks to all Parks <br />and Rec staff. <br />VIII.
