I le appreciated the efiorts of Tony Patznek <br />fir steppjng in and serving as the .Acting Public Safety Director for the City. He reviewed the <br />items the Planning_ Commission discussed last Tuesday. He noted the City Water Report was <br />no\v available for review. He congratulated the h-ondale Robotics team for another -Treat <br />season. He noted the City Nvas still seeking election judges for both the primary and general <br />elections. He wished everyone a Happy 4"' of July. <br />Mavor Johnson <br />Mayor Johnson wished Public Safety Director Jacobson a happy retirement. She then <br />introduced Acting Public Works Director Tony Patznek to the public. She stated Rotary now <br />had a new meeting space and would begin meeting at The Exchange every Tuesday at 12:15 <br />p.m. She encouraged all residents to become a member of the New Brighton Historical <br />Society. She looked forvvard to attending the City's farmer's market on Wednesday, July 6t1i. <br />She discussed an upcoming Council event that would take place at Vermont Park on Thursday, <br />July 2151 at 6:30 p.m. She invited the residents adjacent to this park to attend this event. She <br />thanked the City for matin- great decisions regarding the City's water supply. She looked <br />forward to the interconnection with the City of Minneapolis being completed. She wished <br />Officer Kathy McNeely well in her retirement and thanked her for her 25 years of service to <br />the community.
