RESOLUTION NO. <br /> 17- <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING THE BID FOR SILVER LAKE ROAD LED STREET <br />LIGHT IMPROVEMENT PROJECT ALSO KNOWN AS CITY PROJECT 17-4, 2017 <br />LED CONVERSION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement as shown on the plan <br />for the above-referenced project, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law <br />complying with the advertisement; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the lowest bidder meeting bid specifications was found to be Killmer Electric <br />Co., Inc. in the amount of $416,174.46. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of New Brighton: <br /> <br />1. That the Mayor and City Manager hereby authorize the City of St. Anthony Village to enter <br />into a contract with Killmer Electric Co., for the New Brighton portion of the project <br />($219,244.62) in the name of the City of New Brighton for City Project 17-4, 2017 LED <br />Conversion; and, <br /> <br />2. The City St. Anthony Village is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all <br />bidders the deposits made with their bid except that the deposits of the successful low bidder <br />and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. <br /> <br />ADOPTED this 25th day of April, 2017, by the New Brighton City Council with a vote of _____ <br />ayes and _____ nays. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Valerie Johnson, Mayor <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Dean R.
