3.Review the fire alarm system to verify there are smoke detectors within the duct <br />work that services the Eagles Nest. <br />4.Have a setting placed in the RTU that services the Eagles Nest that would, in the <br />event of a fire, only run the exhaust to remove smoke from the area. <br />5.Require the vendors to share their testing data and requirements in regards to the <br />materials that will be used. <br />One other step that is being taken is checking with the League of Minnesota Cities to <br />determine if there is a concern that the structure would not comply with this section of <br />the building code. This is being asked because a driving force behind changes to the <br />Building Code are insurance companies hoping to make the world safer and thus reduce <br />their future risk.
