The Grantee will use funds received under the Grant Agreement upon <br />the continuing compliance by the Sub-grantee with its obligations hereunder. <br /> <br />2. Grantee’s Obligations. <br /> <br />(a) On behalf of the Sub-grantee, the Grantee will purchase water efficient US EPA <br />WaterSense labled toilets that will be installed in the units on the Property. The <br />Sub-grantee is responsible for selecting the toilet model; however, it must be labeled <br />as being as US EPA WaterSense. <br /> <br />(b) The Grantee will order and store the toilets prior to installation. <br /> <br />(c) The Grantee will identify and contract with a licensed plumber to conduct the <br />installation of the toilets on the Property. The Grantee may also have the plumber <br />repair any other water leaks identified during the toilet installation, assuming that the <br />cost of the repairs do not exceed 15 percent of the total grant amount. If, at any <br />time, the cost of the repairs exceeds 15 percent of the total grant amount, the Grantee <br />must obtain the Sub-grantee’s permission before authorizing the repairs and the Sub- <br />grantee shall be responsible for those excess costs. <br /> <br />(d) The Grantee will inspect the toilets once they are installed by the plumber to ensure <br />that they were installed properly. <br /> <br />(e) The Grantee will be responsible for tracking and documenting all of its expenses <br />associated with the installation of the toilets and any repairs of water leaks. <br /> <br />(f) The Grantee will be responsible for paying the costs of the toilets, the toilet <br />installation costs, the costs of any supplies needed to install the toilets, and the cost <br />of any water leak repairs up to a total amount of $3,087.50 (which will be funded <br />from the $50,000 grant proceeds received from the Metropolitan Council and the <br />Grantee’s 25 percent match ($671.20). <br /> <br />3. Sub-Grantee’s Obligations. The Sub-grantee will perform and satisfy certain <br />obligations of the Grantee under the Grant Agreement. Specifically, but without limiting the <br />foregoing, the Sub-grantee will perform all of the following with respect to the project and in <br />satisfaction of Grant Agreement obligations: <br /> <br />(a) The Sub-grantee shall be responsible for contacting the tenants of the Property and <br />coordinate the installation of the toilets in a timely manner. The Sub-grantee shall <br />grant the Grantee’s plumber access to the units on the Property for the installation <br />and the repairs. <br /> <br />(b) The Sub-grantee shall be responsible for repaying the Grantee the amount of the <br />Grantee’s 25 percent match ($671.20). The Sub-grantee shall also be responsible for <br />repaying the Grantee up to an additional $597.27 for any water leak repairs that are <br />needed. If any additional repairs that are needed that exceed $597.27, the Grantee
