Community Engagement PlanDRAFT A-3
ID #Like it! Comment (up votes, down votes)
1 Sunny square park is a nice, well kept park right by our house we love swinging by to play a couple times a week. I also like
that there is a ice ring in the winter! Great little park. (0, 0)
2 A nice little park. The main play structure is fun for littles through elementary ages. (0, 0)
3 Awesome to have his expansion of trails from LLP. Need to mark out the XC paths. Maybe expand for mountain biking
and other sports as well. (0, 0)
4 TEST (1, 0)
5 Wonderful to have this connection to add'l trails, Irondale, etc. One (expensive) suggestion: convert to an all-wood
covered bridge, becomes a beautiful, iconic structure; not just functional crossing (2, 1)
6 Wonderful space for all sorts of activities. (2, 0)
7 Long Lake Park is awesome. (3, 0)
8 A true wire zip line (not the fixed steel style) would be a great addition to the new park. (1, 0)
9 Beautiful park with lovely playing fields and plays for children to play. (0, 0)
10 nice neighborhood park (0, 0)
11 Nice park. Skating rink. (0, 0)
12 I don't love McDonald's or anything but has been nice to have it here on occasion. (0, 0)
13 What if NB used this section of 694 bisecting the city as space to install solar panels and help NB move to clean/renewable
energy? Residents could sponsor solar panel and get an energy credit maybe. (0, 1)
14 Office building- nice to have to attract business/places to work to the area. Not a lot of choice in lunch offices however.
Something at this location would be great. (0, 0)
15 I would love more pool access time and child care options with the community center. We are likely going to switch to
the Shoreview center to get these things. (0, 0)
16 The community center is a HUGE asset! The library has been a phenomenal addition. Would love to see increased
onsite amenities to draw in more people/memberships. (5, 0)
17 I agree! Living in Old Town NB gives us easy access through the well maintained sidewalks and trails right into LL park
and now up to the Rice Creek trail system both directions. (0, 0)
18 Walking paths, park, and integration to downtown is wonderful. (4, 1)
19 please delete this, put on the wrong spot (0, 0)
20 Great to have the NB farmer's market start up last year but Salem Covenant lot would get way better exposure and foot
traffic being next to Silver Lake Rd and close to 694. (0, 0)
21 The painted line on the east side of 19th Ave is greatly appreciated. This provides a safe space for kids to walk to and
from the north side of Bel Air. (0, 0)
22 It's great that the gas station here was updated. It looks better and it's great to see active improvements being made to
a local business. (1, 0)
23 Great to have the NB farmer's market start up last year but Salem Covenant lot would get way better exposure
and foot traffic being next to Silver Lake Rd and close to 694. (6, 0)
24 Hansen Park has a lot to offer from the playground and shelter to the baseball and frisbee golf. I would suggest
more neighborhood involvement as the park seems under utilized. (3, 0)
25 Great playground, fun metal slide for kids down into woods, nice unofficial trails. Expand and maintain the trails in
the woods behind houses and church. (3, 0)
26 Love Hansen park and looking g forward to the ACoE redevelopment being completed. (0, 0)
27 We purchased our home because of Hanson park being right there. Love being able to spend some time in nature so
close to home. (0, 0)
28 Nice calm park. A designated dog area with 5 foot fence would be nice (0, 2)
29 Windsor Green is a great community. Lots of great neighbors and you can't beat having Silverwood Regional Park across
the road. (0, 0)
30 Thank you for adding the light at Silver Oaks. Such a fun place to go sledding.
