2 <br /> <br />7.14 IMMEDIATE FAMILY <br /> <br />The definition of immediate family will include employee’s spouse and the following family <br />members: parents, parents-in-laws, sister, brother, son, daughter, grandparents, grandchildren, <br />son-in-law, daughter-in-law, step-sons, step-daughters, of the employee or spouse and other <br />family members as defined by Minn. Stat. 181.9413. <br /> <br />10.2 OVERTIME PAY <br />The usage of any comp time will be separated by a minimum of five (5) consecutive, normal <br />work days as defined in 9.1 of the contract <br /> <br />10.4 OVERTIME PAY <br />Overtime will be based on seniority, to the extent practicable, except as provided in Sections <br />10.5, 10.7, and 10.9. All positions covered by this contract, excluding parks maintenance <br />workers unless they are deemed qualified by the EMPLOYER, will be included in seniority <br />overtime considerations. <br /> <br />10.7 OVERTIME PAY <br />If an emergency occurs, the City will be allowed the ability to call-in the employee deemed, in <br />the City’s mind opinion, to be most qualified for handling the emergency, without absolutely <br />meeting the seniority provisions of Section 10.4. <br /> <br />10.9 OVERTIME PAY <br />Use of Standby Duty person man for overtime. When overtime opportunities arise, the active <br />Duty Standby Duty person will be expected to respond. Additional personnel shall be called in, <br />pursuant to Section 10.7 for those instances where the Standby Duty Person man is not qualified <br />or is otherwise incapable of handling the overtime situation. <br /> <br />14.1 DISICIPLINE <br />The EMPLOYER will discipline employees for just cause only. Discipline will be in one or more of <br />the following terms: <br /> <br />a) Oral reprimand; <br />b) Written reprimand; <br />c) Unpaid suspensions; <br />d) Demotion; <br />e) Discharge. <br /> <br />19.5 HOSPITAL MEDICAL <br />In 2018, the City will pay $365 $395/month to any employee opting out of such coverage. <br /> <br />21.2 VACATION <br />Vacation leave may be used as earned provided that the EMPLOYER-designated supervisor City <br />Manager shall determine the time at which such leave is taken, and provided that no vacation <br />leave is being used prior to the employee completing his/her first six months of employment with <br />the City. Employees requesting vacation time shall request and receive approval/disapproval from <br />their supervisor at least three (3) working days in advance of the vacation being requested. <br />
