3 <br /> <br /> <br />21.3 VACATION <br />Employees who exceed the accrual limits, without prior authorization by the City Manager, will <br />have their records adjusted at the end of each calendar year to their maximum accrual level. <br />Employees requesting vacation time shall request and receive approval/disapproval from their <br />supervisor at least three (3) working days in advance of the vacation being requested. <br /> <br />21.4 VACATION <br />An employee leaving the municipality's service in good standing and after giving proper notice of <br />termination two weeks written notice to the Employer-designated supervisor, shall be <br />compensated for up to 260 hours of accrued vacation leave <br /> <br />24.1 SEVERANCE <br />Effective January 1, 2009, if an employee leaves the organization - in good standing after <br />submitting a two weeks written notice of resignation - <br /> <br /> Delete language pertaining to secondary sick leave bank. <br /> <br />27.4 STANDBY DUTY <br />In addition to the duties and compensation specified in Section 27.3, the employee on standby <br />duty shall be compensated for nine (9) hours of standby at one and one -half (1-1/2) times the <br />employee's pay rate for the period of the designated week from 3:30 p.m. Wednesday to 7:00 <br />a.m. the following Wednesday. Standby means the employee shall be readily available for contact <br />by the EMPLOYER on designated weeks from 3:30 p.m. Wednesday to 7:00 a.m. the following <br />Wednesday. For any of the declared Holidays identified in Section 20.1 falling on a regular workday, <br />the employee on Standby shall receive one (1) additional hour of Standby pay. <br /> <br />30.2 LICENSES <br />In the event that an employee experiences a loss of CDL licensure for medical reasons, the <br />EMPLOYER will accommodate that reassign that employee to non-CDL duties for a period of up <br />to 60 days to the extent the EMPLOYER determines that meaningful non-CDL assignment duties <br />exist. Medical conditions that cause a loss of license are subject to state law and regulation and <br />review by a doctor selected by the EMPLOYER as allowed by state law. <br /> <br />32.1 POST-RETIREMENT WAGE CONTRIBUTION <br />Any employee leaving the city in good standing after submitting two weeks written notice of <br />resignation and qualifying for severance shall have the severance deposited into the employee’s <br />RHS. <br /> <br />Article 34 – SEASONAL EMPLOYEES <br /> Replace “Seasonal” with “Limited Term” throughout the article. <br /> Delete 34.3; 34.6; 34.7; 34.8 – all sections related to seasonal employees. <br /> Specify union dues are paid at the start of a limited term employees employment. <br /> Delete specific positions listed as limited term employees <br /> <br />36.1 TREATMENT PLANT OPERATOR <br />The EMPLOYER retains the sole that right to reassign the duties to a different employee at any <br />time if deemed necessary due to performance or disciplinary issue in the sole discretion of the
