4 <br /> <br />EMPLOYER. <br />“Housekeeping” List <br /> <br />8.1 SAVINGS CLAUSE <br />This AGREEMENT is subject to the laws of the United States, the State of Minnesota, and the <br />signed Municipality. <br /> <br />9.2 WORK SCHEDULES <br />The EMPLOYER will give advance notice to the employees affected by the establishment of work <br />days or shifts different from the employee's normal eight (8) hour work day. <br /> <br />19.6 OPTIONAL BENEFITS <br />Employees may utilize any EMPLOYER resources available monetary contributions available after <br />health insurance premiums are satisfied for the purpose of selecting additional benefits, from the <br />City’s cafeteria benefits program. <br /> <br />21.1 VACATION <br />Each full-time employee covered by this AGREEMENT will earn vacation leave as shown on the <br />table below. <br /> <br />23.1 SICK LEAVE <br />Sick leave with pay shall be accrued by permanent full-time employees at the rate of eight (8) <br />hours for each calendar month of full-time service or major fraction thereof. <br /> <br />23.3 SICK LEAVE - PURPOSE <br />Sick leave shall be not be considered as a privilege which any employee may use at his or her <br />discretion, but shall be allowed in case of necessity and actual illness, legal quarantine, or disability <br />of the employee or to receive dental or medical care or other sickness preventative measures <br />approved by the City Manager. <br /> <br />23.6 C. SICK LEAVE – SUBSTANTIATION <br />…again able to perform all significant essential duties of the job in a competent manner and <br />without hazard to the employee or others. <br /> <br />23.6 D. SICK LEAVE – SUBSTANTIATION <br />The City Manager may require a nurse visitation or medical examination, or both, as deemed <br />necessary before or during an approved utilization of sick leave. Any required nurse visitation or <br />required medical examination shall be paid by the City. <br /> <br />27.5 STANDBY DUTY <br />In the event the employee on standby duty develops a conflict and is unable to be available <br />during all or a portion of the assigned standby duty time, the employee will be responsible for <br />notifying the supervisor and for indicating who is willing to serve such standby time on the <br />employee’s behalf. <br /> <br />
