8 <br />Det. DeBoer filed a Criminal Complaint against a 50 year old St. Paul woman for one <br />count of Financial Transaction Card Fraud for using the victim’s skimmed credit card to <br />make 9 purchases for a total dollar value of over $1,500. The offense is a felony carrying <br />a maximum sentence of 5 years and/or a $10,000 fine. <br /> <br />Detective DeBoer filed a Criminal Complaint against a 33 year old New Brighton man <br />for Domestic Assault by Strangulation which is a Felony that carries a Maximum <br />Sentence of 3 years and/or a $5,000 fine. The suspect assaulted his wife who is 32 weeks <br />pregnant. The victim was punched in the abdomen as well as strangled to the point she <br />was unable to breath. <br /> <br />Detective DeBoer filed a Criminal Complaint against a 47 year old Rochester man after <br />the ex-girlfriend called the police to file a harassment report on him. While they were on <br />scene in the 2300 block of Palmer Dr., the male party showed and gave officers a false <br />name which he was arrested. A search incident to arrest revealed a container with a false <br />bottom containing methamphetamine. The party is charged with 5th degree drug <br />possession which is a felony with a maximum sentence of 5 year and/or a $10,000 fine. <br /> <br />VCET members received information from an east side St. Paul patrol officer that <br />stopped a car and recovered an ounce of methamphetamine. The arrestee provided the <br />address for where he just purchased the narcotics and a search warrant was written. Six <br />people were arrested inside the residence including one individual who attempted to jump <br />out of the window and flee due to his felony warrants. Approximately ¼ pound of <br />methamphetamine was recovered and one stolen gun. <br /> <br />
