9 <br />On March 2, VCET officer advised his unit attempted to buy a quarter pound of cocaine. <br />The deal never happened because the drug dealer’s car broke down and his mom <br />wouldn't drive him to the meet location. <br /> <br />Detective Voeller filed a complaint against a 24 year old New Brighton resident for 2 <br />counts of Felony Domestic Assault and one count of Felony Domestic Assault by <br />Strangulation. The 24 year old has 7 qualifying domestic violence related convictions. <br />Combined, the 24 year old has a maximum sentence of 13 years and/or a $23,000 fine. <br /> <br />VCET officer advised he and another VCET Officer went to an address in St. Paul on a <br />knock and talk. This is the location where he was looking for a marijuana grow <br />operation. Officer got a warrant to use the FLIR with the State Patrol helicopter. They <br />made contact inside the residence and determined that there was not a marijuana grow <br />operation but rather, per the occupant, she was a Section 8 recipient who stated that she <br />didn’t care about saving energy because someone else was paying the bill anyway which <br />averaged $1200 per month. <br /> <br />V.
