<br /> <br />A. Council Report <br /> <br />Council Member Jacobsen introduced himself as the new liaison to the commission and thanked <br />them for their service. He provided updates on recent Council actions relating to a proposed <br />charter school housed at the United Theological Seminary, replacement of the Eagles’ Nest at the <br />Community Center, a new development in the Exchange by TUV SUD, working with API Group <br />on exercising their land option for future growth, the water treatment facility expansion, and the <br />clean audit report for the City’s finances. <br /> <br />Old Business <br /> <br />A. Selection of Chair and Vice Chair <br /> <br />Director Paetznick advised that the Council is reconsidering their guidelines for selection of <br />Chairs and Vice Chairs for all Commissions given the lack of members eligible for appointment <br />based on the current standards. Council Member Jacobsen advised that they will be revisiting <br />this topic in the future. <br /> <br />New Business <br /> <br />A. July Presentation <br /> <br />Director Paetznick advised that Assistant Director of Community Assets and <br />Development/Planning Director Janice Gundlach has asked to provide the Commission with an <br />update on the City’s Comprehensive Plan Update process next month. <br /> <br />Adjourn <br /> <br />Commissioner Boyd made a motion to adjourn the June Public Safety Commission meeting; <br />seconded by Commissioner Kessler. Motion carried.
