RECOGNITION, NEWS AND INFORMATION <br /> <br />This section will include “good news” information about our public safety personnel. <br />This will include formal and informal recognition of the department and/or its personnel <br />on or off duty. <br /> <br />On Tuesday, October 10th, members of Public Safety along with other city staff attended <br />the funeral for retired Fire Chief Mark Frieden. Chief Frieden served the city as a <br />firefighter from 1975-2007, achieving the rank of Chief. He died following a 6-year <br />battle with cancer. His great personality and knowledge of the fire service will be missed <br />greatly! <br /> <br />
