5 <br /> <br />the electrical and the new sprinkler system. <br /> Parks and Rec partnered with Public Safety on a cops and bobbers <br />event on August 29th at Long Lake. Over 100 people were present <br />and kids caught fish. Trout Unlimited was there, Twin City Walleye <br />was there, Fishing for Life gave out about 40 rods and reels and Joe’s <br />Sporting goods provided different bait and helped to teach how to tie <br />hooks, etc. Many from Public Safety were there. One person caught <br />more than 12 fish. This was a first annual event. Vendors enjoyed it <br />and are willing to come again next year. <br />A Commissioner asked if the old Eagles Nest would be repurposed. <br />Assistant Director Jason Hicks stated the company that does the <br />repurposing did not want indoor playgrounds and it is possible that the City <br />could be liable if they repurposed it. The vendor demoing the Eagles Nest is <br />responsible for discarding the structure. <br /> <br />Shut down week, things will be done like restriping the parking lot, cleaning <br />carpets, resurface gym floor. <br /> <br />VII.
