• It is imperative the City continue to implement the Comprehensive Street Reconstruction program <br />as well-maintained public infrastructure leads to, and ensures continued stability to local housing <br />stock. <br />• The Commission will take an active role in reviewing and providing comment on the New Brighton <br />2040 Comprehensive Plan Update to ensure these existing programs and initiatives are reflected <br />in the plan in a manner that recognizes housing as an economic development priority. <br /> <br />Attached is a draft Resolution incorporating the above noted conclusions to the housing programs <br />discussion. Please review and provide comment. The intent with the Resolution is that it will be <br />forwarded to the City Council for acceptance, as was done with the Business Retention & Expansion and <br />Sense of Place exercises.
