<br />... <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 95-114 <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING COMPENSATION RATES AND INSURANCE <br />CONTRIBUTIONS FOR NON-UNION PERSONNEL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the compensation rates for the Pay Plan for non-union personnel must be set <br />annually by Council resolution; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the compensation rates have been reviewed and are attached to this resolution as <br />Attachment A and Attachment B; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, these rates are set in accordance with the policy to compensate personnel at the <br />Stanton mean; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is also proposed that the City will continue to make a contributions towards the <br />cost of employee health insurance; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City policy provides that an employee shall be reimbursed for use of their personal <br />vehicle when used to conduct City business; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City's policy is to equalize benefits between union and non-union personnel as <br />much as possible. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that: <br /> <br />1. The 1996 compensation rates shall be as specified in Attachments A & B. <br /> <br />2. The City's maximum contribution for health insurance will be $350.00 per month. <br /> <br />3. The City's reimbursement policy for use of a personal vehicle used to conduct City <br />business shall be consistent with the IRS maximum reimbursement rate. <br /> <br />4. Monthly salaried, full-time regular employees who are not eligible to receive overtime <br />pay may receive an amount up to 5% of annual salary to compensate for overtime- <br />performance. This section is to be administered at the discretion of the City Manager. <br /> <br />5. Employees shall receive additional compensation as necessary to comply with the <br />Comparable Worth Plan. <br /> <br />6. Employees will receive, upon retirement in good standing after ten (10) years of service, <br />30% of accumulated unused sick leave in a severance payment. <br /> <br />Adopted by the City Council this <br /> <br />19th day of December, 1995. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />R~- <br />~~. - <br /> <br />atthew S.
