Call to Order <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chairperson Nichols-Matkaiti. <br />II. Roll Call <br />Members Present.........................Chairperson Erin Nichols-Matkaiti and Commissioners Todd <br />Biedenfeld, Kelly Frush, Nasreen Fynewever, and Tim <br />McQuillan <br />Members Absent ..........................Commissioners Jeanne Frischman and Melissa Murphy <br />Also Present .................................Ben Gozola (Assistant Director of Community Assets and <br />Development) and Mayor Valerie Johnson <br />III. Approval of Agenda <br />Motion by Commissioner McQuillan, seconded by Commissioner Biedenfeld, to approve the <br />December 18, 2018 agenda as presented. <br />Approved 5-0. <br />IV. Approval of Minutes <br />Minutes from November 20, 2018 <br />Motion by Commissioner McQuillan, seconded by Commissioner Frush, to approve the November <br />20, 2018 meeting minutes as presented. <br />Approved 5-0. <br />V. Report from City Council Liaison <br />Mayor Johnson updated the Commission on the recent actions taken by the Council. She reported the <br />Council passed the Comprehensive Plan along to the Met Council. She stated she was very proud of the <br />City’s plan and believed it would keep the City moving in the right direction for the next 20 years. She <br />explained the Council recently passed the 2019 budget and tax le vy. She noted the Council would be <br />moving towards body worn cameras for the Public Safety Department.
