RESOLUTION NO. _____ <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />RESOLUTION TO ACKNOWLEDGE THE 2017 SCHOLARSHIP DONATIONS FROM THE KITCHEN KUT <br />UPS BAND IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,200 <br />WHEREAS, the City desires that all New Brighton families are able to participate in Parks <br />and Recreation programs; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council appreciates the support of donations from local individuals <br />toward youth and families who may not be able to participate in New Brighton’s recreational <br />activities due to their income status; and <br />WHEREAS, the Kitchen Kut Ups Band has been a long-time supportive partner of the City <br />scholarship program by donating proceeds from performances; and <br />WHEREAS, the City welcomes funds to help maintain the quality and quantity of affordable <br />recreational opportunities for New Brighton families, <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of New Brighton to <br />hereby acknowledge the 2017 donations totaling $1,200 from the Kitchen Kut Ups Band to assist <br />low income families in participating in New Brighton Parks and Recreation programs. <br />ADOPTED this 13th day of February, 2018 by the New Brighton City Council with a vote of _____ <br />ayes and _____ nays. <br />Valerie Johnson, Mayor <br />ATTEST: Dean R.
