<br />Councilmember Burg requested staff speak with the owner of this property to see if he would be moving his <br />existing business and employees out of the community. Gundlach stated she would speak with the property <br />owner further regarding these matters. <br /> <br />Councilmember Allen thanked the Council for addressing the topic of affordable housing and stated he looked <br />forward to addressing senior housing in the future. <br /> <br />Further discussion ensued regarding the housing initiative that were being pursued by the City of Coon Rapids. <br /> <br />Council consensus was to direct staff to speak with the property owner regarding a purchase agreement for the <br />property at 629 Old Highway 8. <br /> <br /> <br />Worksession adjourned at 6:18 pm <br /> <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Terri Spangrud <br />City Clerk <br />
