Johnson <br />•Manages all part time and seasonal OVAL staff (40 staff members), including recruitment, <br />training, scheduling, evaluation and development. <br />•Oversaw the evaluation, purchasing of and implementation of the Square point of sale system. <br />•Overseeing the evaluation, purchasing and implementation Max Galaxy facility scheduling <br />system (currently in progress). <br />•Manage Roll for the Roses 10K inline road race through the city of Roseville, including <br />coordinating with police, volunteers, vendors and other contributing parties. <br />•Manage all Skating Center recreation programming including Roseville Skating School, Bandy, <br />Speed Skating and Skateboard Camps, Roll-In Movies (outdoor movies at the OVAL). <br />•Manage special events in coordination with participating groups including Tapped and Uncorked <br />(beer tasting event), USA Cup Speed skating, Roseville Ice Show, Roseville Figure Skating <br />Competition, New Years Eve on Ice, Boys and Girls High School Hockey Sectional <br />Championships. <br />Recreation Supervisor, Athletics and Outdoor Facilities July 2013 to July 2016 <br />City of Roseville – Parks and Recreation <br />•Developed, managed and evaluated effective, fiscally responsible programs for the City of <br />Roseville. <br />•Developed and maintained financially responsible budgets for all programs overseen. <br />•Managed all adult athletics programming (more than 5,000 annual participants), including <br />marketing, promotion, budgeting, scheduling and staffing. <br />•Managed all outdoor athletic facility scheduling and maintenance in a way that ensures fairness <br />for all users and enables maintenance to adequately prepare and rest facilities. <br />•Managed the Roseville’s recreational Youth Fall Soccer League (275 players annually) including <br />marketing & promotion, scheduling, volunteer recruitment and staffing. <br />•Managed Roseville High School Coaches’ Camps including procuring facilities, marketing and <br />contracting with high school coaches to run the camp. <br />•Served as the City’s liaison to youth athletic associations including monitoring group operations <br />to ensure operation in accordance with best practices, coordinating field usage and providing <br />guidance on difficult issues. <br />•Managed the City of Roseville’s outdoor ice rink program including staffing, rental and <br />coordinating maintenance. <br />•High level involvement in park construction project including: serving on contractor screening <br />group using Best Value selection process, attending and contributing to weekly construction <br />meetings throughout the Park Renewal Program ($19 million project spanning 30 parks), <br />responding to contractors Requests for Information, lead roll in the design of the building <br />security and key structure. <br />•Served as the City’s lead staff, in concert with the Parks Superintendent, on the execution of the <br />$1.7 million field renovation project that spanned 11 fields over 3 sites. <br />•Coordinated daily construction schedules for the entire Park Renewal Program ($19 million <br />spanning 26 parks) to ensure that daily construction did not interfere with any recreational <br />programming or user groups. <br />•Created and implemented the City of Roseville’s park building rental program after the <br />completion of it’s new park buildings ($60,000 annual revenue). <br />•Hired, trained and managed the Facility Supervisor in charge of park building rentals. <br />•Developed and implemented a user-friendly way to electronically compile, display and submit <br />Roseville’s application for CAPRA re-accreditation (a 3,000 page document); which won
